We will have 7-10 minute weekly presentations on the following media artists. Presenters should describe the artist’s use of media, as well as how you interpret the meaning or content of his or her work.
Note: Presentations should make use of PowerPoint or other presentation software. Live web browsing can be incorporated, but only if it’s the best way to demonstrate elements of the artist’s practice. You may want to use a pre-recorded screencast video instead. There is a free program called Copernicus that will let you record screencasts. Also, don’t forget that these are well known artists, who have been written about by critics and bloggers. Do a little research beyond the artist’s personal website, and see what you can learn! Try to give a us a good overview of the artist’s work, and share some of your personal opinions about it.
